Oh man that one is a nice one. What were the original scales?

Re: What is the single best spyderco configuration you own?
Mine is the PE M390 lightweight delica. Exclusive from bento box. Scales were navy but I dyed it black.
I use this like a salt, it strops up amazingly, edge lasts a while, never rusts on me, and to my hand the delica is the best fit.

What is the single best spyderco configuration you own?
Not looking for your favorite model, but literally the best combo: model + steel + scale material + scale color + edge type.

Re: frankensalt - yay or nay?
This is a good point about galvanic corrosion. I would swap all the hardware across but anything embedded in the scales wouldn’t swap. Anyone from spyderco know if this is going to be a problem?

frankensalt - yay or nay?
I (apparently) love me some para 3s. I have 5 of them, including these two: the bd1n DLC SE, and the new magnacut salt. I think the DLC would look awesome with the yellow scales. I wish Spyderco made some blacked out yellow handled salts.

Re: Dragonfly vs. Lil' Native
For a small knife, I find the lil native too thick. I keep trying to like it, but I've bought and sold 3 of them. Dragonflies are the perfect knife for their size. Small knives are great for every day tasks. Suuuper slicey. I have a dragonfly sitting by the front door for packages. Have 2 in the off...

para 3 lw, serrated, black blade - still in production?
I’ve been in the market for a serrated black blade para 3 lw but for about a year haven’t been able to find it. Is it discontinued?

Is the new pivot just aesthetic or does it serve some functional purpose?

While we’re on this subject I’m curious why they didn’t go with FRN for this one like the para 3.

Re: gray G-10 CPM-Cruwear... delica?
I love how these threads start to variate, considering the ask is much easier than the delivery for Seki models in G-10 (let alone the lack of purchases once price is in pill form). I've asked before and I suppose this thread is as good as any to petition again; I want to see a Stretch 2 XL Lightwe...

Boning knife folder - stretch 2 xl? Which one?
Going to be doing a lot of chicken carving of roasted chickens in a rustic environment. I’m think maybe the stretch 2 xl would be a good companion here. But between the steel choices including the upcoming salts, and the choice between plain edge and serrated, I’m at a loss of what to choose or if I...

Re: Delica 4 in 2024?
Not the best photo, but this is my set minus my wharncliffe k390 in the garage. Here we have a k390 with a patina'd blade, an m390, two LC200Ns, two blacked out H1 salts (one serrated) that I frankensteined onto yellow scales, a wharncliff serated, a cruwear, and a wharncliff 20cv. I find myself fre...

Re: dragonfly lc200n wharncliffe?
By no means I want to crash the party... but for me personally the DFly wharnie that is really missing exactly IS one in H1/H2 (and in SE)... it is the only version of the Dfly I´d definitely get as a backup knife (otherwise the platform is just too small for me), cause the H1/H2 Dflys (regular bla...

I think it’s high time for an LC200N dragonfly.
