Re: aftermarket Pivot replacement pm2 and others
You can just mail it to the warranty department. They'll charge you twenty bucks or so, but on a popular model they should have some replacement parts. Less popular or sprint runs they may not have spare bits lying about EDIT: Sorry, you've been here long enough to know that. I'll leave this up in c...

Re: My Folding Mule Project
I was going to jump on here to laughingly ask you to make a folder out of the ceramic mule. but here I find you already starting. were you thinking of a ceramic ball detent? Any other material would just wear away

lil Temperance LW parts
Does anybody know of anyone making hardware for the Lil Temperance LW? I lost one of the backspacers/standoffs and warranty repair sent it back saying they don't have that part. Or failing that, anybody know of another knife with the same spacing that I could steal it from. The knife still functions...

The Subvert, aka “Danger Banana”. It’s ludicrousness is a delight.the blend of cool and and stupidly large while being bright orange brings a smile every time

Re: Smock vs. Sliverax
Smock is more fun to fiddle around with. Sliverax has very anemic flipping action. Smock looks kinda mall ninja with the speed holes in the handle. Sliverax is a bit bigger than it looks, but the blade goes aaaaall the way up, vs the smock

Re: Compression lock opening in pocket?
I've had issues with the Watu, but i don't know if it was the knife opening or the thinness of the blade. A couple times in slacks I pulled it out and it stabbed through the pants, but i think the blade is so slender and needle-like that the thin slacks managed to snag the tip and pull it out on its...

Re: TiCN/DLC food safety
That I could find, there’s no established dangerous level of ingested TiCN. The Ti is pretty inert, and your food and air are largely made of carbon and nitrogen.
The MSDS I found also said no expected side effects to exposure.
Pretty sure you’re good to go

Re: New Knife Sharpening?
I’ve never had a problem with the factory edge from Spyderco. Some other manufacturers I won’t name have burn the edges on knives, so you have to sharpen quite a lot to get rid of the spot where they ruined the temper. And sometimes still, I’ve had knives come with the edge completely rolled or a gi...

Re: did somebody say magnacut manix...?!
Been hoping for a Manix2 LW Salt for years, Magnacut would make it even more exiting! Same, a Salt LW Manix makes so much sense that I can only assume it hasn't been done because of material limitations. Maybe the type of steel used for springs doesn't hold up in saline environments? The Autonomy s...

Autonomy Scales
Does anybody do Autonomy 2 scales? I like my knife, but I'd love it if the scales were cut in a radius/thinner towards the edges. The Mule is possibly the most comfortable knife I own, and I'd like the folding version to feel similar
