Re: LC200N Catcherman help...

These knives are not "centrifugal knives". As an expert in folding knives, feel free to use this response in the appeal. These knives are not designed for "switch blade like" or centrifugal one hand opening. The canadian laws are one thing, taking a spyderco catcherman knife at t...

Re: Reveal 15 - Live!

out of curiosity, I can not find the magnacut pm2 yellow and black on the website. not even "coming soon". now, I know that the desktop website varies wildly from the mobile/cell website, but still, don't see it on either. this is not uncommon. typically, when a new reveal is posted, the ...

Re: Anyone want to see Vanax in the salt series?

My most common stainless steel is actually M390/20CV/204P which balances Corrosion Resistance and Edge Retention very well in small folders. I’m eager to try M398 due to superior edge retention with very good corrosion resistance. I have m390 and m398, but won't dare take them into the ocean. Have ...

Re: Anyone want to see Vanax in the salt series?

Love to see vanax... I think a dragonfly even lighter with thinner blade stock or a uk penknife/calypso with the same super thin lightweight bladestock would be a winner. In order my steel preference would be vanax, magnacut or Lc200n. The catcherman in Lc200n is fantastic get one if you still can ...

Re: Anyone want to see Vanax in the salt series?

I think it's just wrong that Spyderco, the leader in steels for knives, is not producing a vanax salt series. I would like to design a knife and have them evaluate it for production. If a guy from California can take to market a vanax folding knife, Spyderco can do it better and cheaper, for sure. ...

Re: Reveal 15 - Live!

Am I going to buy it in Rex 121? Yes! [/quote] I've been eyeing the maxamet sage, but I live on an island and wouldn't want the blade all rusty and "patina'd" (excuse the poetic license). never held a sage. very curious, but cannot resist the opportunity to own the current champ in edge re...

Re: Reveal 15 - Live!

Agreed. Strange reveal; no 15v; seemingly out of no where REX 121! and the very cool wine/burgundy and black combo for the micro melt.pd 1. Is it supposed to be another brand of cruwear? (thats what I mean seemingly out of nowhere... I hadn't heard / read anything in the forum for example, granted I...

Re: Spymyto is hot!

Would anyone who has already received their Spymyto be willing to measure the bearings? Mine won't be here until Friday but I will update with my findings if no one else does before then. Pivot size/OD/ball diameter would be great. I'm curious if anything from Skiff would fit. already planning on u...

Re: Waterproof knives

I think the term would be extremely saltwater resistant because 100% water proof probably doesn't exist. My earliest are Boker H&K with X15TN steel, Benchmade Triage with N680 steel and Magnum Titan Submariner ALL titanium fixed blade dive knife (one piece titanium with no screws). I also have ...

Re: Spymyto is hot!

SpyMyto has a run of 2000 pieces so there should be plenty to go around. Hello, RamZar, I am curious how you found this out? It was mentioned by Eric Glesser of Spyderco in a SHOT Show video: https://youtu.be/e2GOsed_NCM&t=14m22s I saw the video. Thanks man! Its fun to watch Eric G. explain the...

Report: After opening and closing the new Salt Manix maybe a hundred times while watching Jack Nicholson in Chinatown , the Salt Manix now feels like...opens & closes like...my other LW Manixes. Even drop-shuts now. Must have been that Nicholson magic. You remember this scene, it's where the ch...
