Re: Most Noble Order of the Sock Drawer

Ok, so I was sent back at the mention of potential bylaw changes. Underwear Drawer Keepers being considered for a possible merger. Is there a swearing in meeting scheduled already, or is that being discussed now?

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?

Native 5 in Spy27. Will be my first Native 5 and first Golden Back lock that I've heard so much about. My Wife and youngest son bought me one for my Birthday, great knife, great color, and great steel. You will like it! Good to hear! It has been recommend more than once on the forum, so I am humbly...

Re: Most Noble Order of the Sock Drawer

I was sent here by a fellow brother, but after reading the title I think it may be a mistake. Looking for the underwear drawer club. Our saying is "A knife on hand or in the band no matter the situation." We do not accept those commando guys.

Re: Bladehq Sage 5 in M4 and mint green scales

If you like mint green, just wave it in the air like you don't care. And be proud of it . I'm just glad they are doing non-black colors and changing it up. I like black, but it gets a little old. Although, with black the wife may not know it's a new knife.

I would personally do a quick dip in a royal blue or long dip in a light blue.

Question about Rit or DyeMore Dye ... if the knife gets wet, does the dye transfer to hands, clothing, etc?
It doesn't transfer. I have had mine wet and zero worries at all. I haven't had it long enough to see how the color holds up, but it seems like it penetrated pretty well.

Re: Bladehq Sage 5 in M4 and mint green scales

I bet it has to do with that color. I'm sorry to anybody that likes it, but to me (and a couple of the knife nerds here at work) it just screams limp wrist/skinny jeans. That's what Rit Dye was made for! Here's my S90V Native that started out as teal: https://www.instagram.com/p/CTDNF-ZPtY_/ And my...

Folks, this knife is not for you. Don't bother trying. It's not stainless, the color is wrong, you have to pay tax, you won't like it. You should definitely skip it.
Wait a second, I'm changing my mind again...

The app seems to be the slowest. Social Media announcement from the dealer will pop up, then you head on over to the forum and see a thread already started. Forum for the win!

Re: Spyderco 2021 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming

You would think a push notification through the app would be a decent heads up on the Endela Warncliffe. You cannot even find the model on the app. That's odd to me.

Re: Holiday Gift Expert Recommendations

I have gifted 3 Chaparrals. They seemed to have gone over well for people who did not regularly carry a knife. The chaparral is a heck of a little knife.

Re: CPM 4V and 10V? What would be cool to see these steels in?

So I know the plan is to reduce exclusives, and the current bandwagon to jump on is "oh, same old model in new color and new steel, do you think Im stupid, har har"... But I'm seriously not going to be happy with my collection until I get a shaman in k390/10v... preferredly with that high...

Re: Bladehq Sage 5 in M4 and mint green scales

Alright, so in 1 thread I have gone from super excited about a release to out on this model. The price seems a little high compared to other similar releases. Multiple members have also recommended a Native 5 (if you prefer the back lock). I'm going to take their advice. If you see me excited about...

Re: Gonna go out on a limb here…

This is still my opinion of the "finest" Spyderco I own. The Kapara.

However, if you had a top 10 Pocket Knives in History, I would sure hope the Manix 2 would be on there.
