I really enjoyed this post and found it very educational, as well as informative.
I’m still not ready to take the plunge to this from premium steel I’m familiar with, but thank you for one of the best reviews.

I love them too and have come to the conclusion that they are magic. They will soon take over the world and hopefully not zap you. :D

Re: DLT Kapara Exclusive!
Trade my CF for g10? I think not. The cf scales on my Kapara are the highest quality I have seen. I think the blade exceeds anything I will ever need it for and new was less money.

Alas, I do not have an answer. They'd have to ask the pot.

Re: What is your profession?
My profession is retired , for the past 15 years. My carrier began as salesman selling chemicals of all types commercially to the state, and municipal prospects here in the mid Atlantic states. I finally decided in 1975 that I should start my own business, which I did. That lasted 24 years and was v...

A Chaparral XL!!! I love the one I have (it’s in my pocket), but it’s time to expand.

Well, I’m a little under 6’ (I’ve shrunk) and stay 181-184lbs. Still toned, too a degree, for a 78 year old.

Stay cool!
As far as titanium goes my hip replacements average almost 5lbs each. So a total of 10lbs, or so.

Not a watch collector. I switch off between a leather band Citizen and a stainless steel Movado.

Re: The Phoenix has landed on eBay....
I hope everyone is happy with their purchase. I’m sorry but $450 for a 3” vg10 pocket knife is beyond my comprehension. I don’t really care if the Pope designed it.

Re: Spydercos & Guns
As a firearm owner for many (60 years) and a knife maker, collector and user for many, many years, you all can do whatever you want, but I have never closely related guns and knives. Even in the Army there were knives and there were guns. You wanted to kill people it was a gun. A knife was a tool.

I think in simple terms.
I didn’t like him nor agree with most of what he espoused.
The guy is dead so may he R.I.P.

Re: 1st COVID19 vaccination
It seems that each state has its own rules and way of assigning a time and place for you to receive your vaccination. On the news, it said there were only a few thousand available for the entire state of Alabama, but over a million are needed. On the day I got my first shot they had 19,000 available...

1st COVID19 vaccination
Lucked out and got a spot. My wife had 4 computers going the same time at 7:30am to secure an appt. for me. Now I know why I tricked her into marrying me. Shot #2 is 5/1. Then 2 more weeks before I’m safe for myself, as well as everyone else. Can’t wait to see my grandchildren, kids and everyone I t...

As much as I like my Kapara as it is, the thought of a longer, thinner, non-corrosive, xxl Kapara is intriguing.

Well, being old, somewhat mentaly challenged, but also blessed by having very deep pockets, I would like to add nothing to what may be a very dead end subject.
