Re: The Usefulness Of Multi-Tools In This National Emergency

I use full sized pliers and screwdrivers when working around the house. This hasn't changed, even during the pandemic. I carry a Leatherman Wave when I go out, but honestly, it rarely sees any use since my pocket knife takes care of day-to-day cutting tasks. I still carry it as our country is in the...

Re: Native 5 Lightweight Rex 45

If you got one, why the long face?? It's probably a combination of spending three weeks in home quarantine, and being worn out hunting for this variant but being too late (until today) because of the time difference. I know that the search for the sprint is supposed to add excitement to life, and I...

Re: Native 5 Lightweight Rex 45

I got one from KSF just now. They were still in stock after I checked out. My heart can't take much more of this excitement from chasing sprints :(

Re: Mule Team Survey

1) Did you purchase a Mule Team knife in the past? Yes, in PD1 and RWL34. 2) Did you put a handle on it? Yes. 3) Did you make or buy a sheath? Yes. 4) Did you test the performance of your Mule? I use both of them regularly if that is what performance testing means. 5) Did you test the performance ag...

M390 and analogous steels do not interest me.

Make one of these in Maxamet however and I will purchase. This and a Native 5 will likely be my first REX-45 steel.
But there is already a Native 5 in Maxamet.

Re: Chaparral LW vs. (new) BM Mini Bugout

The Bugout never appealed to me, perhaps because of the early reviews that mentioned handle flex. I don't know if they have addressed this with the Mini Bugout. I have the Chaparral LW and it is very slicey knife and probably the smallest Spyderco that I am comfortable using. Also, as Halfneck menti...

Re: Reputable Online Retailer Sugestions and Experiences Good or Bad

DLT Trading went out of their way to give me great service.

I've also had good experiences with Knives Ship Free, Cutlery Shoppe, Olde Towne Cutlery, Knifeworks, and KnifeCenter.

Hi Guy,

There are a few in-the-works.

Nice handle Mikey.

I only learned how to order Mule Team knives last year, so I got the RWL34 and PD1 models. I hope Spyderco continues this project.

The DLC version is already out of stock at DLT Trading, but is in stock at Knives Ship Free.

I ordered the satin and it's making the slow journey to my country. It's taking all my willpower to keep from getting the DLC as well haha

Re: Street Beat Discussion

Some fixed blades with similar handle design language: Perrin Le Bowie, Spyderco Street Beat LW, and White River Backpacker Pro. Not surprisingly, the Street Beat has the best ergonomics as the handle fills my hand well. I've always wanted the micarta version because it looks so cool, but from the p...
