Re: UKPK Magnacut?
I’ve sold a few knives this year and my interest in purchasing more knives is down … however, this knife I’ve been interested in since it was announced and I still am. With what is sounding like a drop out rate, hopefully they will be easy to find. Please post sellers when they arrive as you guys alw ...

If the handle fits your hand and the blade length will handle a majority of your uses … it is likely going to be a winner.

Re: What's your interest in the VG XEOS mule?
I've never had any issues with VG-10's corrosion resistance. I'd be more interested in a higher edge retention VG-10 than a higher resistance VG-10. But I suppose that's what SPY27 is for, yeah? Same. Likely not interested but then likely it will turn out to be something special. My preference ...

Re: Native Scout?
Background: I own five Native 5's. I recently picked up a brown G10 / M390 Native Chief because I was wanting something a bit longer. The Chief is great, but it's a bit too long, and by not adding height to scales and blade the proportions are thrown off. I strongly prefer the bias toward closure ...

Re: Upping the price.
Could be a blessing in disguise. Chances are if you're on this forum, you've already got more than enough knives in your collection to keep you busy/happy as it is...you just don't know it yet. Based on the poll that was going around a couple weeks ago, the amount of people scooping up 15+ knives a ...

If it was just Spyderco prices that increased I could handle it fine.
However, after paying taxes, insurances, utilities, groceries, and transportation …
Feels like I won’t be getting any Spyderco ... or anything material that isn’t truly necessary.

Re: Lansky - What am I doing wrong?
With my clamp knife sharpening system I burr the edge to one side (use my fingernail to feel the burr, it will catch slightly. You will develop a better feel for it the more you do it. Also, use light reflecting off the edge to see if the edge is uniform). Then, work the burr side to create a burr ...

Re: How much did you spend on Spyderco brand products in 2023?
I didn’t total my purchases.
Between Native Chiefs, Delicas, UKPks, and mules I estimated $600-$799.
So far 2024, $0.00; but lots of great stuff on the horizon.

Crum … forgot about the Enuff 2 K390 and the Murray Carter Petty …. Revised to $1K+

Re: Ok, could it be that LC200N fares better against Magnacut than some might think?
For me it is more a matter of “green” or “yellow”.
I do like the green one better and is what I go with.
However, I need a folder in Magnacut so I will pick up a yellow one.
Niggle on….
